Associated Seafoods Supports the Lady of Avenel

For the first time in 50 years a tall ship will drop anchor in the waters of Moray.

The Lady of Avenel, a spectacular 102ft square-rigged Brigantine, will berth at Buckie, bringing the story of our local coastal and maritime heritage and culture to life through music, song, and story.

Conceived by Scottish musician and tall ship captain Barry Nisbet, especially for Scotland’s Year of Stories, ‘Stories, Sessions, and Sails’ will be programmed in partnership with the Elphinstone Institute.

Step On Board

Encounter living history in a unique setting, and when the boat comes in, there will be a chance to step on board for a guided tour of the boat. Daily between 6 – 7pm. Free. No booking required.

Supported by EventScotland as part of the Year of Stories 2022.

Associated Seafoods is delighted to support the Lady of Avenel at the 4th Findhorn Bay Festival.
