Meat Monsters & ASL Team Up To Surprise Keyworkers

We were delighted this week to partner with Meat Monsters, an authentic smokehouse and BBQ business based in Ellon, by donating them some fresh Scottish salmon, which they are in turn using to spread some happiness during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Meat Monsters have always prided themselves on being an “authentic smokehouse and BBQ with a conscience”. Since the start of the Coronavirus outbreak they have been offering NHS frontline staff a discount on their range of delicious products, including smoked beef brisket, smoked pulled pork, bacon and hot smoked salmon. As things progressed and it became clear that those on the frontline were struggling after tough days to get food and basic necessities, they started running Mercy Missions to deliver hot food (and occasionally toilet roll!) for free.

Our MD, Victor West, was delighted to organise some fresh Scottish salmon sides to be delivered to Meat Monsters, who are very grateful for the generous donation. They are going to use the hot smoked salmon they create to surprise some of the same keyworkers, in thanks for their ongoing services on the frontline, which Associated Seafoods fully supports.
